Wingstem Linocut Print | Native Wildflower Botanical Art | 9 x 12 inch
Wingstem Linocut Print — Native Wildflower Botanical Art
This Wingstem linocut print is a bold yet elegant depiction of Verbesina alternifolia, a cheerful native wildflower that brightens meadows, woodland edges, and streambanks throughout much of eastern North America. With its tall stems, golden blooms, and distinctive winged stalks, Wingstem is a favorite of late-season pollinators and a beautiful reminder of the richness of native landscapes.
Available in either golden yellow ink or black ink printed over a warm orange sun, this print complements a variety of spaces, from minimalist and modern interiors to cozy cottage, nature-inspired, or dark academia aesthetics.
Wingstem is hand printed on 9×12 inch Japanese Hosho paper. The design was hand carved from a linoleum block, then printed individually by hand, making every print unique and perfectly imperfect. No two prints will be exactly alike. Relief printing celebrates the handmade process, with subtle variations in ink and texture that give each piece its own character and charm.
Whether displayed on its own or as part of a botanical gallery wall, this print celebrates one of North America’s beautiful native wildflowers and makes a thoughtful gift for gardeners, naturalists, wildflower enthusiasts, or anyone who finds joy in the outdoors.
