Pelican Linocut Art Print on Handmade Paper | Hand Carved and Hand Printed | 9x12 inches

This print captures the strength, wisdom, and gracefulness that I see when I watch the brown pelicans fly over the beaches of the Carolinas. The Pelican linocut print would make a great addition to your coastal decor, or gift for a nature lover!

The Pelican print is approximately 5x5 inches, printed on 6.5x8.5 inch handmade paper, made from recycled paper, with leaves added to the pulp. Each sheet of paper is unique, and has a deckled edge.

There are two variations- one with a white moon in the background, and one without.

This recycled handmade paper is delicate by nature. When packaged for shipping, it is lightly adhered to a sheet of 9x12 inch sturdy paper, which is signed, by a single piece of artists tape. I'd recommend framing it as is. If you wish to separate the print from the backing paper, please do so gently.

The design was hand carved from a linoleum block, then printed by hand, making each print unique and perfectly imperfect. No two prints will be exactly alike. Relief printing is all about the process, and creates charming, one of a kind, handcrafted artwork.
